Our Units
1. Social Responsibility Unit
The purpose of this Unit is to advocate for an ethos of social responsibility and manage external relations in the liquor industry by encouraging shared participation amongst the stakeholders of the entity.
2. Licensing and Administration Unit
The purpose of this Unit is to receive, process, recommend, consider and grant liquor license applications to fit and proper persons.
3. Compliance and Enforcement Unit
The purpose of this Unit is to ensure regulatory compliance and enforcement of the KZN Liquor Act No 6 of 2010; by:
-
• providing support in the licence application process; and
• monitoring and enforcing compliance at liquor premises with the provisions of the Liquor Act
